Why every account research tool tells you the obvious

AI AccountIQ on Sales Nav is super bad.

I've seen this across almost every account research tool.

They tell you the most obvious facts - the company's strategic priorities is the product they're selling.

Of course it is.

But it reveals no pain-points across different departments and teams that your product can help with.

The only real insight you get is growth across departments - which is useful - but it's just an LLM narrating their headcount data in text form and missing out on the details.

Running LLMs on top of existing data indexes, indexes that was never designed to be LLM-first - misses on context that could actually surface with a better engineered data layer.

Like knowing that the sales team at Company X focused on EMEA outbound is struggling with pipeline coverage. That requires adding indexes and semantic concepts from the ground up.

Company, jobs, and people data are dense and context, rich that it's massively a underutilizing not to rebuild the layer for LLMs.
